Sales – full time – Stif Mountain Bikes

Stif Mountain Bikes is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales assistant to join its Summerbridge (Near Harrogate) store. You would be joining a busy team of passionate staff. You will need some experience of working within the cycling industry and excellent knowledge of high-end mountain bikes and componentry. Responsibilities will include serving customers both in store, over the phone and via email. You will need to be competent at specifying and correctly advising customers on their custom bike builds. An approachable manner, excellent communication skills and good telephone manner are a must. Experience using an EPOS system is advantageous.

Industrial designer – bicycle helmets – Cycling Sports Group

An opportunity has arisen for an industrial designer to join its parts and accessories product development team. It is looking for a highly creative industrial designer responsible for product design of bicycle helmets from concept to production. Creation, management and enforcement of the helmet line design language. The individual will work as part of its parts and accessories development team who develop helmets, saddles, tools, inflation, hydration, storage and more. As part of a small agile development team, there is opportunity to make a direct impact on this growing business. This role is based in Frome, Somerset.

Team leader – Rollapaluza

Rollapaluza is looking for a competent team leader who is passionate about encouraging and enabling cycling. A team leader will be responsible for running events and managing staff, leading a team of two or three coaches. Rollapaluza run hundreds of events annually, the majority of which are local to Greater London. It also regularly visits many areas of the UK and occasionally abroad. This role includes nights away. This role requires a good level of physical fitness. The ability to engage with members of the public from all ages and backgrounds along with an enthusiasm for cycling. The events themselves range from an extensive community and schools programme, club and pub competition events along with corporate promotions and entertainment.

Parts category manager – Rutland Cycling

This key role takes ownership of parts performance both online and in a growing store network. Here’s your opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic commercial team, within an award-winning, family-owned business enjoying rapid growth across all channels. It is looking for someone who can drive growth of parts sales across all channels. Ideally with a sound track record in category management, you will be first in class when it comes to building strong relations with suppliers, as well as other key players across the business. 3DMA bike fitter – Giant Cycle Store Bristol

Giant Brand Store Bristol is looking for an experienced 3DMA technician to join its team and help it ensure every customer has an enjoyable and positive shopping experience in store. It offers the full range of Giant branded bikes and products. It would like its fitter to also help drive sales through consistent and positive customer service. The ideal candidate would already be working as a bike fit technician, or recently qualified in order that the fit studio can stay on track for the upcoming busy season. It is also important that applicants would be able to engage and build rapport quickly with customers and have a strong desire to help others achieve their goals.
