Tortec has beefed up its brand development team with a view to growing the brand’s range.
The new team – headed up by fresh recruit Tim Copsey – is planning to plug gaps in the market and significantly ramp up the brand’s product portfolio to make Tortec an ‘all encompassing accessories brand’.
A spokesperson for the Zyro-owned brand told BikeBiz: “Tortec already offers a range of unique, well designed, effective and durable value-for-money products. We have focused on adding value in the rack, mudguard and bottle cage sectors up to now and these lines will continue to be extensively developed.
“But Tim Copsey and his new in-house own brand development team will be investigating additional sectors where we can add real value to our retailers and UK consumers, plugging the gaps in both the accessories market and Zyro’s existing portfolio…so watch this space over the next 12-24 months for new introductions.”
The brand was founded back in 2002 by Simon Ellison, co-founder and product director of Zyro. Tortec focuses on developing bread and butter accessories with top-notch edge design.
