Trade Account: Andy Easterbrook, Wildoo

BikeBiz gets to know the people working in the nation’s cycle trade, one person at a time (this might take a while). This month it’s the turn of Andy Easterbrook, director of Wildoo…

When did you set up Wildoo?
Wildoo started in 2002.

How long have you worked in the industry?
Too long! I can’t say but feel I have already earnt my long service medal.

What’s the best thing about working in the industry?
Being able to make a living from something that I have a passion for.

What are the best and worst parts of your job?
The best part for sure is seeing the products we have developed and sold out there and being used. Worst part is simply that I don’t get to cycle enough!

What are you working on at the moment?
We have improved & restructured our custom clothing range for 2016 so it’s the best yet. Added to that we have been developing our VeloPac brand from a single product (PhonePac) to a range of products to include a Musette and RidePac. We have also committed to British production for these items.

How can the trade get in touch?
Our products can be seen via our websites www.wildoo.co.uk and www.velopac.cc. We also have a presence on Facebook and Twitter. Being based in Milton Keynes means it’s very easy for customers to drop in and visit us!
