Chris Wilmhurst and Mark Noble to manage UK specific content

UK arm of Vital BMX to launch this month

Vital BMX is to launch a .co.uk domain to cater for the 50,000 monthly uniques from the UK it says land at its .com address monthly.

Launching on August 15th, the website will carry more UK-focused content and offer brands a ‘more cost effective way to reach an audience of core riders in the UK.’

Visitors in the UK who go to VitalBMX.com will be automatically redirected to VitalBMX.co.uk.

Chris Wilmshurst will be the site’s full-time UK Content Manager. Based in Malvern, England, Chris has been a contributor to Vital BMX for the past four years. Additionally, Mark Noble, founder of Ride BMX UK and several other prominent action sports titles, will be a contributing editor.

A Vital statement reads: "The UK has had a strong BMX scene for decades with magazines supporting it throughout. However, as the media landscape has shifted to digital, no site has emerged as the go-to destination. Filling that void and supporting the UK’s riders, brands, and shops is our objective."

To celebrate the launch of Vital BMX UK, we will be hosting a jam on August 31, details of which will be on the site once it has launched.

VitalBMX.com reports that it has over 400,000 monthly unique visitors.
