Upgrade Bikes becomes exclusive UK distributor for Nutcase

Upgrade Bikes has partnered with Nutcase to become the brand’s exclusive UK distributor.

Dealers can now pre-order Nutcase helmets and accessories via the Upgrade B2B, with stock arriving in March 2020.

The brand’s entire range is equipped with MIPS technology, and consists of three helmet models for all ages, with a new adult urban model set to be announced soon.

Founded in Portland, Oregon in 2000, Nutcase says it places equal emphasis on safety, aesthetics and quality and brings “artistic creativity” to the helmet market. “Helmets used to be boring,” reads the Nutcase mission statement. “We founded Nutcase to change all of that. To make helmets fun again. To make them into something you wanted to wear without being told you should.”

Tom Catton, Upgrade’s digital marketing manager said: “We are delighted to be distributing Nutcase helmets in the UK. The emphasis on safety, style and quality sets their helmets apart from others in the market. The range is simple, with something for every age group, while the beautiful and fun designs will appeal to both adults and children.

“MIPS technology has been proven to reduce rotational forces on the brain in the case of an impact. This technology can benefit everyone, and when it comes to safety, particularly that of children, we believe that only the best will do.

“We also believe that encouraging cyclists to wear helmets by making them fun, practical and safe is the key to injury prevention, and Nutcase hits the mark with their range. We are excited to be working with Nutcase, and we look forward to bringing the new Nutcase range to cyclists all over the UK.”
