Fisher own-brand also to add pedals and mudguards to line-up

Vavert range expands to include computers

Cycle computers, mudguards and pedals are set to be incorporated into the growing Vavert range, the brand has revealed.

The news comes only months after Vavert was launched to the trade with an initial range of saddles and grips, at Fisher Outdoor Leisure’s Expo in February.

The new range of pedals and mudguards consists of twenty products with retail prices ranging from £14.99 to £34.99. The computer range will consist of four key wired and digital wireless models, including a GPS offering.

As a result, Fisher has dropped the VDO brand of cycle computers from its portfolio.

Product Manager Rob Handoll said: “The response to the Vavert range has been extremely positive from the start, with the central principle of well priced, design-led, co-ordinated accessories being instantly accepted.

"Phase two of the range, the introduction of co-ordinated pedals and mudguards goes on sale in October and I’m pleased to announce the new year will see the addition of cycle computers into the portfolio too."

The firm tells BikeBiz that it is offering excellent stockist offers in October, and that all stockists will be able to order a Vevert POS unit free of charge.

Handoll explained: “The Vavert range has excellent instore presence, with innovative packaging solutions that minimise wasted slatwall space. The popular slatwall mounted POS aids customer purchase by allowing customers to mix and match accessory combinations.”
