RoadKing road pedals BPD-09 and BPD-09Ti present a potential hazard, brand says

Voluntary recall on BBB RoadKing pedals

BBB is operating a voluntary recall after identifying a potential safety issue with the RoadKing road pedals BPD-09 and BPD-09Ti – the axle of the pedal can break, posing a "fall hazard".

These pedals have been sold at specialist bicycle shops from December 2013. Consumers are being told to stop using the pedals and return them to the bicycle shop where the pedals were purchased for a full refund.

The brand said: "At BBB, we design bicycle parts and accessories for cyclists by cyclists. On behalf of all employees we apologise for the inconvenience and we thank you in anticipation for your cooperation."

For questions and further information you are encouarged to contact the BBB distributor in your country – the case of the UK, Windwave.
