London Bike Show and Outdoors Show hit box office of 30,386

VOS Media combo-show attendance statistics revised

The organisers of The London Bike Show have today contacted BikeBiz with what it says are ‘more accurate’ figures and breakdown of the three-in-one show attendance.

Early attendance estimates suggested 85,275 had made the journey to Excel over the four days of show. Breakdowns of the stats handed to BikeBiz suggest 57,468 visitors made the journey primarily to visit the Tullett Prebon Boat Show, though crossover was expected.

The Outdoors Show and The London Bike Show ran a combined box office with a total of 30,386 visitors.

Geraldine Reeve, show manager commented: “The move of the show to London and to the start of the year has been a fantastic success. Very strong visitor numbers show that January is an ideal time to run an event which is all about inspiring people for their adventures over the forthcoming year and strong results for exhibitors have confirmed our expectations that moving to a London base would provide exhibitors with access to a larger and more affluent audience.”

The Outdoors Show and The London Bike Show will return to ExCeL, London from the 12th to 15th of January 2012 and will again co-locate with the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show.
