Young cycle brands will be represented at free-to-attend event

Vulpine holding London cycle fete over Jubilee Bank Holiday

On Jubilee Bank Holiday Monday, cycle clothing brand Vulpine will host its first ‘Cycling Fete’ in London.

Celebrating summer, style and cycling, the Fete will showcase fresh and original new cycling brands in Britain alongside artists, live graffiti, traditional games, cakes, coffee and hog roast.

Among the young cycling brands heading to the London Cycling Fete is award-winning frame builder Ricky Feather of Feather Cycles as well as Tokyo Fixed. Cycling’s wider culture will also be represented, with live graffiti from The Toaster alongside a host of new artists’ work, all accompanied coffee from cycling café look mum no hands!.

The event will also include some Tweed Run and Roller Racing action.

Vulpine said: "The event will mark and revel in the remarkable renaissance of cycling on these shores and the new attitude emerging; innovative, design-driven, inclusive and fun.

"Whether you’re out on two wheels every day or just for sun-drenched picnics, you’re the fixie fanatic or it’s your brother who’s the bike fiend, the Cycling Fete will be an opportunity to see and enjoy the latest bikes, clothes, gadgets and gear in an easy and friendly atmosphere."

Entry is free and a selection of prizes from the brands attending will be available to win with all proceeds going to cycling charities Wheels For Wellbeing and Rollapaluza Outreach.

Taking place on Monday 4th June, the event runs from 12 to 6pm at Balham Bowls Club, 7-9 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8QX.
