UK-based brand Wattbike has appointed two new marketing managers.
James Vickers and Amy Johns will take on the roles of marketing and PR manager and digital marketing manager respectively.
James Vickers joins Wattbike from Ribble Cycles where he held the position of head of brand and marketing and previously worked as head of marketing at Planet X Bikes. He said: ”Wattbike is a progressive, technology and data-driven bike business with big plans and the opportunity here is amazing. I’m very excited to be starting and look forward to working with the team.”
Among the new responsibilities, Vickers will focus on the consumer side of the business and can expect to handle Wattbikes advertising and PR relationships, events and athletes and advocates."
Amy Johns further bolsters the Watbike team as digital marketing manager. Johns joins from Center Parcs where she held the position of marketing manager.
Johns will work to improve customer experience and Wattbike’s online presence by enriching the brand’s content and customer journey. She said: “Wattbike is a growing and ambitious brand, with genuinely exciting plans for the future. I’m thrilled to be joining such a great team and look forward to helping the business achieve its goals.”
