"Whoops! Sorry folks," said a Wiggle representative when confronted with evidence that the pic the company used on a Facebook posting was, in fact, copyright of Chain Reaction Cycles. The pic in question is of a bicycle expertly covered in Christmas wrapping paper.
Wiggle was alerted to its faux pas by Brant Richards, via Twitter. The company responded, also via Twitter: "Yeah sorry, we were sent it a while back from someone, cannot find the source. & had it in a folder."
The photograph – easily found via a keyword image search on Google – is part of a series of shots taken by Chain Reaction Cycles to demonstrate how to wrap a bicycle for Christmas.
CRC wrapped a Nukeproof Mega 275 MTB using four rolls of paper and two rolls of tape.
