BBB is to be exclusively available through Windwave from the start of 2011.
The firm is heading in what it calls a new direction where marketing and product development, alongside its independent partner stores only will be key. The founders of the company have a long history in the cycling industry, now servicing more than 15,000 IBD’s in 38 countries.
“As Windwave is a marketing and service driven company with a clear focus on IBD’s and dedicated employees we feel the future will be successful for both ourselves and our customers”, according to BBB’s CEO Chris Koppert.
The product range is to be supported by a smart shop-in-shop system that stimulates impulse purchasing.
“BBB has been constantly improving their product range, getting to a point where top athletes of Quick-Step, Cofidis and Vacansoleil are asking for the BBB products. Look at the Quick-Step riders, using BBB helmets, sport glasses, cycling computers and many other products in training. This is clearly a confirmation that they are heading in the right direction”, says Windwave MD Peter Nisbet.
You can look at the BBB products yourself at the London Cycle show (October 7-10) at booth number D18c.
