In order to bring the mag in line with the date of issue, the July BicycleBusiness becomes the August edition. This will be out in the first week of August. The September edition follows close behind.

You wait ages for a bus, and then two come along at once

Of late BicycleBusiness has been published in the last week of the month but has been dated for that particular month. However, in line with consumer magazines which come out a month ahead of themselves, BicycleBusiness will now revert to a more ‘normal’ publishing schedule.

There will be no ‘July’ issue. There will still be 12 issues published this year.

The August edition contains a mammoth central article celebrating grass roots workers who expand the market for cycling. The September magazine features an indepth look at Evans Cycles and its new Gatwick HQ and distribution centre. The BikeBiz editor flew into Gatwick last week and was impressed by what he saw: "I had to pinch myself to remember that this was a bike retailer, not a supplier. The Evans distribution centre is bigger and better than many supplier HQ’s I’ve been to."
