With immediate effect, Zyro has decided to cease distribution of Etxeondo in the UK and Ireland.
In a statement, Zyro said that in recent weeks Etxeondo has announced a change to its distribution policy: "This change in policy will have a negative impact on independent bike dealers, and as such Zyro does not wish to be associated with the brand moving forward.
"Zyro’s focus has always been on representing its brands across the whole market, ensuring IBDs are at the heart of our distribution policy.
"Etxeondo’s change in policy goes against this distribution model, and as a result Zyro no longer wishes to work with the brand."
Zyro had been distributing the Spanish brand since 2011.
