E-BIKE STORE MANAGER

Salary

We offer a competitive salary and bonus package based on ability and experience.

Location

Market Square, Kingston upon Thames, Greater London.

Hours

Five days a week including Saturdays, and alternate Sundays.

Holiday

28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays). Increase in holiday allowance to 33 days with length of service.

Introduction

As part of Sigma Sports’ pursuit to cater for all cyclists, whatever their needs, we are excited to be recruiting sales staff for our new Electric Bike store, which will be opening in March 2022.

We are currently looking for the right applicant to lead our ever-growing sales team at this Kingston-upon-Thames based store.

In a busy, exciting and challenging environment, we are striving to deliver an outstanding customer experience, whilst offering the latest products from the leading brands in cycling.

Role Overview

As a key leader within our business you will be responsible for driving a world class shopping environment, and delivering the ultimate premium shopping experience for our customers.

You will need to provide engaging leadership, motivating and inspiring your team to drive excellence in all they do, and use your commercial acumen to maximise performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a best-in-class customer experience, and ensure employees provide exceptional customer service
  • Customer retention through building relationships with all customers
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints by determining optimal solutions
  • Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Develop and implement employee performance evaluations and improvement plans through regular one to one meetings
  • Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Conduct daily store meetings before opening
  • Recruiting and overseeing the training of store employees
  • Sales and bottom line profits of the store
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Execute and monitor loss prevention and shrink programmes
  • Manage store revenue, including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of cash to the bank
  • Management of all store operational requirements, such as maintaining store supplies, overseeing deliveries and returns, approval of staff holidays etc
  • Ensure the interior and exterior of the store is maintained to company high standards
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Staying ahead of the competition
